Community Access Points

Chat live with an advisor by using a webcam and screen near where you are. You should call in the local center (the one you want to use) to make an appointment, the meetings are face to face via screen and webcam. When you attend your appointment make sure to bring all your paperwork with you as there is often a scanner you can use to send necessary documents.

You can also call 0808 278 7820 (Monday–Friday, 9am–3pm) to make an appointment, or sometimes you can just drop in the centre to make an appointment.

Advocacy Hub (Sheffield)

Sheffield Advocacy Hub exists to provide a free, independent and confidential service for people who need independent advocacy support.
We work with a wide range of people who are vulnerable and who need health or social care services.
This includes people with mental health problems, learning disabilities, dementia and brain injuries.

We work with young people, adults and older people from all backgrounds and a wide range of communities.
Many of our clients don’t have anyone else to support them.

Sheffield Advocacy Hub is a partnership between Citizens Advice Sheffield, Cloverleaf Advocacy and Disability Sheffield and SACMHA.

Advocacy Hub (Sheffield)

Advocacy is taking action to help people say what they want, secure their rights, represent their interests and obtain services they need. Advocates and advocacy schemes work in partnership with the people they support and take their side. Advocacy promotes social inclusion, equality and social justice.
