Ben’s Centre is a charity that aims to provide a safe space and an open hand to those who suffer through substance misuse and its associated barriers. They provide this through our city centre outreach service and day centre.
Open to all homeless adults (18 +) on weekdays between 8:30am to 1pm.
The service offers:
one-to-one support and guidance
on-site nurse and dental clinics
access to hot meals and shower facilities
Day centre providing food, showers, laundry, clothing. Advice and information, including help with accessing mainstream services. Structured activities including workshop, pottery, gardening, skills for living - cooking, budgeting, use of IT etc.
Putting you in touch with people who may be able to help
StreetLink can be used by anyone in England and Wales to send an alert about someone over 18 who is sleeping rough or preparing to sleep rough.
StreetLink itself doesn't provide accommodation or go out to search for individuals — it connects members of the public with local outreach teams who can help.

They share information about the support available to people rough sleeping and begging in Sheffield, along with providing advice and guidance for businesses and the general public about how to best support people on the streets.
The teams will come and meet you where you are. If you are calling about someone else, they will try to find them based on the information you provide.

Register to look for accommodation for social housing, council and Housing Associations.
You can use this to apply and bid for social housing, check your rent accounts, and make payments online.
